Socrates once stated these immortal words while pleading his case before a jury trying him for heresy. The Church was upset with words he had spoken, questions he had raised. His response? I would rather be bold, ask questions, and examine my beliefs rather than sit by and let others think and decide for me. Me too, Socrates! Hence, the birth of this blog.
I have no expectations that anyone will ever read the words I pen here. I don't know that anyone will ever quote from my lips something clever or profound. But, I do plan on using this blog as a forum for examining my life and the lives of those around me. After all, the examined life IS the only one worth living.
